Yummy Fruit

When we went home for Thanksgiving, my stepmom, Brenda, introduced Cody & me to a new, wonderful recipe… yummy grapes.  They’re sooo delicious!  And she was nice enough to share the recipe with me πŸ™‚

With all the extra fruit we have lying around now, I needed a way to make it more interesting.  So I chopped up random fruits & mixed up the yummy grape topping… perfect!

Yummy Fruit
slightly adapted from Yummy Grapes by Brenda McMaster

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 1/2 c brown sugar
  • 1/2 c white sugar
  • 1 tb vanilla
  • 4-ish pounds of fruit, diced

Directions

  • Blend ingredients, one at a time
  • Pour over fruit & mix
  • Chill

It’s important to make sure the cream cheese is softened (like at room temperature), or else you get little chunks of cream cheese in a weak sauce, instead of a smooth toppingThis was really good over pineapple, apple, banana & grapes πŸ™‚
