Long Island Iced Tea

Last night, Cody had a craving.  So we tried to satisfy it… but the liquor store was closed.  Tonight, we spent $50 at the liquor store, part on that craving & part on Christmas gifts.
And then we went home, mixed up a batch of long island iced tea… and got drunk 😉

The recipe below makes about 20 oz, where 1 part = 1 shot. Cody made a batch & a half, which we shared, and now we’re both feeling it.  So be careful.  Long islands are delicious, but dangerous
Long Island Iced Tea
  • 1 part vodka
  • 1 part rum
  • 1 part gin
  • 1 part triple sec
  • 1 1/2 parts sweet & sour mix
  • 1 splash Coke

  • Mix ingredients together over ice in a glass.
  • Pour into a shaker and give one brisk shake. Pour back into the glass and make sure there is a touch of fizz at the top.
  • Garnish with lemon.
